How many library books can you take out?
You can borrow up to 20 printed items at a time. This includes books and music material such as vocal, study and full scores. You can also borrow up to 8 CDs and DVDs and 20 items from the Learning & Teaching Collection (Teaching Practice).
Are the UF libraries open?

Is UF parking lifted on holidays?
Vehicles without a valid UF parking decal may pay a daily fee to park in the Reitz Union/Welcome Center Garage, or pay to park in metered spaces around campus. Decal restrictions are lifted on weekends and University holidays. Some decal restrictions are also lifted during certain times of year.

How do I access course reserves UF?
If assistance or immediate clearance is needed, contact the HSC Library at (352) 273-8408 and ask for a Course Reserves staff member. Please note: It is strongly recommended that you use the UF VPN Client for accessing course reserves materials from an off-campus network.
Can anyone go to the British Library?
Everyone needs a Reader Pass to visit the Reading Rooms, and you still need to pre-book an appointment to renew or get a new Reader Pass. If you book a ticket, please cancel if you can’t attend.

Public Lending Right (PLR) was established by Act of Parliament in 1979. It is the responsibility of the British Library and gives authors the legal right to receive payment from government each time their books are loaned through the public library system.
Can you take library books back to any library UK?
More than 4,000 libraries in England, Wales and Northern Ireland are in the Society of Chief Librarians initiative. Existing membership cards or a proof of address will allow people to use any library in the scheme, although books have to be returned to the same area.
