How many library books can you take out?
You can borrow up to 20 printed items at a time. This includes books and music material such as vocal, study and full scores. You can also borrow up to 8 CDs and DVDs and 20 items from the Learning & Teaching Collection (Teaching Practice).

Where can you check out items from the UTEP Library?
Check-Out. Library materials are checked in and out at the Access Services desk. A valid UTEP ID or UTEP issued library card is required to borrow materials. A hold allows most circulating items to be held at the Access Services desk but does not alter the due date if the item is checked out.
