Can Amazon Prime family members borrow books?
Family members in your Amazon Household can access more eBooks and other digital content through Family Library. Family Library helps you share digital content with the eligible family members added in your Amazon Household. You can link two adult Amazon accounts to share eBooks, audiobooks, apps and games.
You can easily share Kindle books between family members, but you’ll have to set up an Amazon Household first. You can create an Amazon Household online or directly on your Kindle. Without Family Library, you also have the option to share some eligible Kindle books by lending the title for a two-week period.
If you decide you don’t want to see them in an app, you have to uncheck the box on the Your Devices page. If you don’t want to share a specific book in your library, you can unshare it from the nearby page Your Account / Manage Your Content and Devices / Your Content. That should be enough to get you up and reading.
Go to the Manage Your Content and Devices and locate the title you’d like to loan. Select the Actions button then select Loan this title on your eligible title. Enter the recipient’s personal email address and optional message then select Send. Select Send now and a book loan notification is sent to the recipient.
Amazon makes sharing with people who don’t live with you pretty easy to take advantage of: There are no limits to how many addresses you can have in your Amazon address book, and no limits to how many credit/debit cards you can store in your account.
Is Amazon Unlimited Books worth it?
Kindle Unlimited is perfect for avid readers… as in those who enjoy reading at least one new book each week. Reading a minimum of 3-4 books per month is important for it to be worth the monthly fee. Also, if you love independent authors, Kindle Unlimited is perfect for you.

Can I transfer Kindle books to another account?
The books that you purchase for your Kindle are locked to your Amazon account – your email address. You can transfer a Kindle to someone else any time, but you cannot transfer your books.
Can you give a Kindle book to someone else?
Head to Amazon and find the Kindle version of the book you want to gift. Then click the “Give as Gift” button. You can choose to e-mail the e-book gift to the recipient with a future delivery date, or print out a voucher (which you can then place in a greeting card).
How do you know if a Kindle book can be loaned?
You can find out if a book is lendable by checking the product details prior to purchasing, or from your content and devices page, which I’ll show below. One Time Only: Kindle only allows you to loan a title once—not just once per person, but once total.
